Located on the penultimate floor of a residential building, the She House was used primarily as an access to services. To make this space dark and closed, bright, modern and airy, the first goal of the NOS team was to completely reconfigure the floor plan. The “smart” heating and cooling systems have been hidden in the shelves and bookcases that blend perfectly with the walls, creating an elegant and modern atmosphere. The high quality finishes have been curated with the utmost attention to detail according to the concept. Menchinelli’s hand-painted oak parquet is accentuated by a border of tiles in the conservatory. The frame tiles were designed by NOS and made to measure by Ceramica Artistica Solimene, a famous manufacturer of handcrafted ceramics from Vietri. Meanwhile, the tiles designed by Patricia Urquiola for Mutina inspired the color palette for the two spa-like bathrooms. In the kitchen, Arrital’s elegant white cabinets fade into the walls and become the perfect backdrop for the gorgeous view. A pop of color is provided by the custom mosaic backsplash designed by NOS and Mosaic del Sur. The end result is a luxury home that takes full advantage of the enviable location and breathtaking views of the Parco degli Acquedotti.
