Villa Vettica offers spectacular views of the breathtaking cliffs, caves and bays of the Amalfi Coast. Built in the 18th century and part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Villa Vettica provided us with the opportunity to engage with the redesign of a highly prestigious property. Our goal has been to preserve the deep cultural and historical influences, and plan a transformation that appears as a natural evolution of the division of existing spaces.
While adopting a conservative approach, the NOS team managed to emphasize the excellent quality of local materials by making them coexist with contemporary high-tech devices.
The interiors have unique and distinctive features: vaulted ceilings, terracotta floors, mood lighting, Calacatta marble in the private bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling glass windows that frame the panorama. These design features, which blend tradition and contemporary trends, create a luxurious environment in which to feel at home.
Other design interventions include a cliff-side swimming pool, an outdoor lounge area and several outdoor lounging areas.
